Chicago Raises Smoking Age to 21

Following New York, Boston, Cleveland, Kansas City and Evanston, Chicago is another large city in the United States whose council has voted to raise the smoking age to 21. Vaping is grouped in with the new law.


WGNTV.com reported that the city’s alderman also voted to ban discounts, placed a $6 million tax on tobacco products and banned chew at professional and amateur sporting events.
