Four bills were passed by the California State Assembly today, which taken together define e-cigarettes as tobacco products, will prohibit smokers under 21 from legally switching to e-cigarettes and vapor products in the state, and allow additional city and county taxes to be imposed on any vape-related products. Also, if you work somewhere in the state that currently allows indoor vaping, they will no longer be allowed to do so unless you work for a smoke shop, vape shop, or cigarette/e-cigarette/e-liquid wholesaler. These bills are all currently expected to pass in the Senate and be signed into law by Governor Jerry Brown.
