SFATA Shares Fly-In Results

Logo_SFATA_10141Agent VAPE received this update from SFATA regarding last week’s fly-in:

Last week SFATA staff, members and board were in Washington, D.C. for a terrific fly-in. On Wednesday, speakers included Ralph Tyler, Esq., Venable and Scott Ballin, public health activist. The presentations were followed by in-depth and robust question and answer sessions where participants were able to get detailed information on the options going forward. Many attendees also had meetings on Wednesday and groups kept busy cycling back and forth between training and meetings on the Hill.

Americans for Tax Reform also hosted a wonderful cocktail party specifically for SFATA members. Open bar, appetizers and networking kicked off the evening, followed by a talk by Grover Norquist, who reinforced the tremendous opportunity vapers have to affect elections in 2016.

Thursday was spent exclusively on the Hill where members met with their representatives and had positive experiences as well as teaching moments when confronted with unaware of the detrimental impact the federal deeming regulations could have on the vapor industry.Thursday night included drinks at the bar, during which time members were able to share their stories from the day, connect with potential business allies and network among fellow members they had not yet had time to meet.

The fly-in was a resounding success and we hope that everyone who could not attend this one, will be able to join us for the next one.
